Mike Fish is a founding member of the Birmingham insurance defense law firm of FISH NELSON & HOLDEN, LLC. He is AV rated which is the highest possible rating under the Martindale-Hubbell attorney certification system. He received his BA degree from The University of Georgia and his J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where he was one of only eight students selected by the faculty for the academic honor of Order of Barristers. Fish is a past Chair of the American Bar Association Workers' Compensation and Employers’ Liability Committee and the immediate past President of the National Workers’ Compensation Defense Network. The NWCDN is a nationwide and Canadian network of independent law firms created to provide an organization where reputable law firms of the highest reputation and expertise could form a comprehensive network to provide employers and insurers access to the highest quality representation in workers' compensation and related employer liability fields.
