Kelly R. Speir was born and raised in McDonough, Georgia. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science in 2006 and a Masters Degree in Public Administration in 2009 from the University of West Georgia. She earned her Juris Doctorate in 2012 from Samford University, Cumberland School of Law. Kelly is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the State Bar of Alabama. Kelly joined the firm as an Associate Attorney in October, 2012 and was named partner in September, 2017. In 2018, Kelly was a speaker at both the Augusta Regional Workers’ Compensation Seminar held by the State Board of Workers’ Compensation and the Workers’ Compensation for the General Practitioner seminar held in Atlanta, Georgia. Further, in October of 2018, Kelly presented at the annual Workers’ Compensation Law Institute seminar in Jekyll Island, Georgia. Kelly is located out of the firm’s Atlanta office and her areas of practice focus primarily on workers’ compensation defense and insurance defense. Kelly is a Martindale Hubbell AV Pre-eminent rated attorney.
