Dr. Cadet is an accomplished Air Force Veteran whose work as a Flight Surgeon aided in the successful execution of 1,080 combat missions and 2,000 airlift missions in support of Operations INHERENT RESOLVE and ENDURING FREEDOM.
Her exceptional clinical performance saved the Air Force nearly $2 million in outsourcing fees. In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the aeromedical support of flyers, she was honored as the 2015 Global Strike Command Flight Surgeon of the Year and the Squadron Company Grade Officer of the Year.
After completing her military service, Dr. Cadet transitioned to the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where she completed her Occupational and Environmental Medicine residency and earned her Master in Public Health degree.
Dr. Cadet has held several significant roles, including serving as the Employee Health Medical Director at Loma Linda University Medical Center which operates six hospitals, a physician practice corporation, remote clinics in the western United States and affiliate organizations around the world. At Loma Linda, she provided occupational health oversight for the University’s 18,000 employees, achieved the highest productivity levels among her peers and generated over $1.3 million in revenue. Her efforts also resulted in substantial savings in Workers’ Compensation claim costs.
Dr. Cadet is board-certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine and currently practices in Southern California where she is the Founder and CEO of ASCEND Occupational Medicine Consulting. Building on the strategies she developed and utilized in the military and large academic medical centers, ASCEND helps self-insured employers reach faster resolution of their workers' comp claims by partnering them with board-certified occupational medicine physicians who guide them through ASCEND's accelerated claim closure process.
