Minnesota Workers' Compensation Education and Resource Module
Jason joined Heacox, Hartman, Koshmrl, Cosgriff, Johnson, Lane & Feenstra, P.A. in June 2022 as an associate attorney defending employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation claims. He was promoted to shareholder on July 1, 2024. Before joining Heacox Hartman, Jason practiced workers’ compensation defense for another firm in the Twin Cities area, where he gained valuable experience representing clients during each stage of a workers’ compensation claim. Jason has successfully represented clients in conferences before the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry and Office of Administrative Hearings as well as in mediations. Prior to practicing law, Jason served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Randall J. Slieter of the Minnesota Court of Appeals, and to Chief Judge Tamara L. Yon and Judge Kurt J. Marben of Minnesota’s Ninth Judicial District. Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children.
