The workers’ compensation ecosystem has many stakeholders. Their incentives often but don’t always align which complicates how they service the two most important stakeholders … the employer and injured employee. When these various stakeholders create silos with conflicting priorities, it can often result in conflict and suboptimal outcomes. When they work as a team, cooperating amongst each other, they collectively create an environment that delivers on the promise of the Grand Bargain. This session will be a frank discussion amongst representatives of the major stakeholders – injured employee, employer / risk manager, insurance carrier / TPA, defense attorney, physician and a service provider – about their real world experiences and lessons learned for sustainable, repeatable successful partnership.
