I have been involved in the healthcare service industry in some capacity for over thirty-five years the majority of which I have been the Director of Sports Medicine, which I also co-founded in 1988. During that time I have worked as an independent provider, contractual provider as well as a full-time employee. I have owned and managed a practice, worked in the for-profit world as well as the not-for-profit as I do now and have for the past twenty-two years. My approach has always been centered around "my service model" knowing that if I provided a quality service that "the business model" would ultimately provide. I strive to see things as they actually are as opposed to what others might hope for me to see. I use this unique ability to open eyes as well as minds and my past experiences serve as a foundation for my endeavors into the future. I have recently had the opportunity to build a Worker's Comp/Industrial Medicine program using the same service model I developed for my sports medicine practice. The similarities are many as well as the challenges involved in understanding and functioning in this complicated and regulated new world. Each new experience allows me the opportunity to learn for my past and better adapt and understand what the future holds. I am excited to share my experiences, knowledge and most of all my unique approach and perspective through this new endeavor called workcompcollege.com
