I’ve known the team at ODG by MCG since 2009 when I became involved with the adoption of their drug formulary by Texas. I had the privilege of being engaged with the regulators and many of the stakeholders as a method to change prescribing behaviors was debated, implemented, and then measured. After almost two years of regularly commuting from Georgia to Texas, based on that experience, I had the opportunity to be a sounding board for several other jurisdictions as they considered evidence-based medicine and/or drug formularies. I learned a lot, and made many new connections, as I began my second decade of being The RxProfessor.
So when ODG decided to join WorkCompCollege as a Bronze Associate in February 2023, it was somewhat of a “full circle” moment. And when I was invited to co-author two articles with Troy Prevot, I jumped at the chance.
