Episode 2 of Voice of the Injured Worker tells the story of Danny. He was dragged two blocks by a hit and run driver, resulting in serious injuries and steep hill back to function and work. However, his care team identified a motivator for him – the challenging “mud run” obstacle race – and encouraged his drive to return to that venue. “They helped me feel like I was in control” but his care team was always there to support him.
