Faculty Profile

Kevin Lederer currently serves as the Director of Client Engagement for Command Investigations and has over ten years of experience in the investigations field. Kevin’s current responsibilities include supervising a team of account managers, developing new client sales, national customer expansion and the planning and managing of the relationship between Command and some of our most important clients. Lederer also assists with hiring and training new sales team members and works with executives on sales team initiatives. Additionally, Lederer creates and teaches state accredited continuing education courses in multiple states across the nation. He has also been highlighted as a keynote speaker at national and state level conferences such as National RIMS, FL RIMS, FASI, ASIA and several others. Lederer has also been mentioned in several insurance related magazines. Before his current position, Kevin was a Senior Key Account Manager and Regional Account Manager, during which his daily responsibilities included account management and development, new client sales and customer expansion across central and south Florida. Prior to his promotion to Regional Account Manager, Lederer was an Operations Manager and oversaw a full-time staff of investigators in Florida, Georgia and California. Before his advancement to Operations Manager, Lederer worked as a Senior Field Investigator in central and south Florida and was successful in conducting thousands of hours in surveillance operations. Additionally, Lederer worked a variety of scene investigations, claimant interviews and other field investigations. He began his career in private investigations in 2013 as an in-house investigator for the Special Investigations Unit (SIU). He completed a variety of tasks including suspect claims investigations, claims data fraud investigations and background checks. He graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice.
