Her practice focuses exclusively on the defense of both self-insured and insured employers and insurance companies in all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation in Minnesota and Wisconsin. She has substantial experience litigating cases at the Office of Administrative Hearings and handling appeals before the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals. Erin grew up in Amery, Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she earned dual degrees in political science and legal studies in 2006. She subsequently attended the University of St. Thomas School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2009 and served as Student Government president. Since that time, she has served several terms on the law school alumni board and served in the school’s nationally-recognized mentor program. She was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Minnesota in 2009 and the State of Wisconsin in 2010. Prior to joining the firm, Erin practiced workers’ compensation defense for 11 years at Erstad & Riemer, P.A. In her free time, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and cheering on her favorite Wisconsin sports teams. She is an avid runner and loves spending time outdoors. In 2019, Erin was named a Minnesota Rising Star Attorney. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
